Join Downunder Dive Center and Richie Kohler for a 4 day wreck diving expedition! We will be diving on the S.S. Peconic and an unidentified to date “prop wreck”. The SS Peconic is an 1881 English built 270’ steamer which sank in 70’ of sea water during a hurricane in August 1905. She holds an abundance of artifacts. The “prop wreck” on the other hand is without data but lies in 120’ of sea water. It is in the 175’ length range. Temps will be 85 degrees at the surface and 70-75 on the bottom. Downunder Dive Center is located in Brevard, NC. Our new facility houses one indoor heated pool for year round training and one outdoor pool.
